Description
Converting from native E mount to industry standard PL, Revolva E/PL performs double duty by providing an integrated ND system with cinema quality optics. Filter cartridges are loaded with a four-position rotating filter. Revolva E/PL is compatible with any quick-change Revolva cartridge, for best of class ND and diffusion, right where you need it.
Revolva E/PL is designed especially to complement Sony cameras, but will fit any E mount. The majority of modern PL lenses are compatible, and the supplied smart fitment tool makes double-checking simple.
Included is a robust support bracket engineered to match the FX3 and FX30 body size, allowing the PL mount to be tied rigidly to the camera and providing 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 fittings.
The grippy PL mounting ring may optionally be augmented with a pair of grip tabs, each of which can be attached in a choice of positions to suit the user.
Note: Revolva requires at least one cartridge to function, but is compatible with all pre-existing cartridges.
The vast majority of PL lenses will fit. 22mm of space is available behind the mounting face, with a safety buffer of a further 1 to 1.5mm. Certain vintage designs and a few modern lenses based on mirrorless optical designs back-converted to PL will not fit. Please contact us for more information. A test tool is included to validate any lenses with a tight tolerance.
