Adapta LC E/PL converts from a native E mount to industry-standard PL, while providing a filter slot to support the LCminiND electronic ND.
Backfocus is user-adjustable in the field with a unique shimless mechanism that still locks permanently and securely.
Stainless steel and aerospace-grade aluminium parts are used throughout, with ultra-precise CNC machining. The PL mount’s internal mechanism is service-adjustable for locking position to guard against wear.
The grippy PL mounting ring may optionally be augmented with a pair of grip tabs, each of which can be attached in a choice of positions to suit the user.
The filter slot also accepts the LCminiCLR as a clear filter option, or any other filters built to the Canon drop-in filter form factor.
A choice of supporting brackets is available to lock the mount securely to your camera body.
Adapta LC E/PL can also be converted in the field to Z or L mount with optional additional bayonet rings.
The vast majority of PL lenses will fit. 22mm of space is available behind the mounting face, with a safety buffer of a further 1 to 1.5mm. Certain vintage designs and a few modern lenses based on mirrorless optical designs back-converted to PL will not fit. Please contact us for more information. A test tool is included to validate any lenses with a tight tolerance.
