Description
Precision ND with full frame coverage
Engineered to deliver exacting control over exposure with minimal compromise, our ND filters ensure your shots are always under control, no matter the conditions. Strata Electro filters are sized larger than the sensor of even VV sized cameras for excellent optical coverage. Only true glass NDs are employed, avoiding the pitfalls of variable and electronic LCD based systems. You’re free to shoot using polarisers, to include phone and computer displays in-shot, keep that perfect blue sky without a dark cross pattern, and match colour effortlessly between f stop variations – all things that other ND systems struggle with. Specialised anti-reflection coatings ensure the lens character is delivered to the sensor with minimum alteration.
Your clear advantage: Always ready versatility
A clear option is a signature feature of KipperTie ND systems, and that continues with Strata Electro. Switch effortlessly between ND and clear modes to adapt to any shooting scenario, always ready for any moment. No need to carry a separate cartridge, glass filter or to remove or re-configure anything.
Hybrid Control: Simple Dependable Operation
Experience the best of both worlds with Strata Electro’s hybrid control system. Combining the reliability of physical switches with the convenience of electronic actuation, our ND filters offer simple adjustments and the reassurance of knowing your settings are secure and reliable. Losing power, bumps and knocks, restarting a camera; none of these affect your ND setting, yet remote control is still possible when needed.
Compact Design: Flexible Performance
Strata Electro packs its powerful performance into a sleek, compact design. Well suited to the form factor of cameras like the Komodo and FX3, our ND system is both lightweight and robust, making it the ideal choice for filmmakers on the move and for rigs where weight and size really matter. We appreciate the specialised needs of wildlife, aerial, action and effects film work as much as the desire to keep the rig light for run and gun or documentary work. Small but tough is very often the right answer. Strata Electro is low profile, not extending above the camera body for Red Raptor and Komodo, meaning that top mounted accessories will not clash.
