Revolva RF/EF

Description

Converting from the native RF mount to electronic Canon EF, Revolva performs double duty by providing an integrated ND system with cinema quality optics. Filter cartridges are loaded with a four-position rotating filter. Revolva RF/EF is compatible with any quick-change Revolva cartridge, for best of class ND and diffusion, right where you need it.

A novel quick-lock design allows the EF lens to fit rapidly, bayonet style, with a secondary locking ring for security. Uniquely the locking ring interlocks with the lens release button, meaning you cannot accidentally mount or unmount the lens with the friction lock applied.

Revolva RF/EF is designed especially to complement RED cameras, but will fit any RF mount. All standard EF lenses are compatible, and all available electronic functionality from the host camera is passed through.

Included is a robust support foot engineered to match the Komodo body size, allowing the PL mount to be tied rigidly to a base plate or other support with 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 fittings. V-Raptor will require spacing to use the support foot due to the taller body.

For V-Raptor the Wrestler mount support provides additional rigidity connecting the Revolva RF/EF directly to the camera body with no other rigging required.

For Komodo the Chinstrap mount support provides the same direct mounting, extra rigidity and additional mounting points.

V-Raptor users wishing to mount the DSMC3 monitor to the camera body will require our Risa K-R product to provide the necessary clearance from the Revolva cartridge.

Komodo users wishing to mount the Komodo Link Adapter to the camera body will require our Risa K-R product to provide the necessary clearance from the Revolva cartridge.

Note: Revolva requires at least one cartridge to function,  but is compatible with all pre-existing cartridges.
